Electronic Timed Drain
The Aqua-Pure NTD series timer drain is an economical drain designed to remove condensate from a wide range of compressed air applications including air dryers, compressors, and filters. The easily adjustable electronic timer, a direct acting solenoid valve and a large discharge orifice, makes this drain the most cost-effective option for reliable condensate removal.
The NTD Series Timer Drain is easy to adjust and rated for pressures up to 230 Psig. With a test switch LED “ON/OFF” indication and fully serviceable valve, the NTD offers a long list of features and benefits not typically found in other condensate drains.
NTD Series Features
- This Electronic timer, which generates adjustable pulses, is particularly suited for automatic control of draining of an air dryer or compressor as, when energized, it can initiate operation of the solenoid valve for the time necessary for draining condensates at regular adjustable intervals
- Other applications include irrigation, air blasting, etc.
- Fits directly any solenoid valve with standardized ISO 4400 / DIN connection between coil and power connector

- Upon application of power the timer resets, enters the ON state for a period of T1, then switches off for 24 hrs. This cycle is repeated until power is removed.

Principles of Operation
- Condensation enters through the inlet side of valve. Debris is captured inside the internal strainer.
2. When the valve activates condensate flows through the strainer up to the orifice.
3. Open the ball valve to clean strainer or to manually drain the tank.
