Xebec Adsorption Inc. a global provider of sustainable gas solutions, announced today that Xebec completed the sale of substantially all assets and IP located at Xebec’s Lenoir City, TN R&D Facility and Xebec’s Air Treatment manufacturing company, Nortec Compressed Air & Gas; to Mike Zarif of (Next Air & Gas LLC.)
Mike Zarif, Former Director of Xebec’s R&D and founder of Aircel Corporation and Nortec Compressed Air & Gas will consolidate all acquired assets under the Next Air & Gas banner and expand product development with the intent to develop the next generation of compressed air dryers.

Mike Zarif has been a forerunner in the air treatment industry since the late 1980’s, his influence and designs have become the staple of standards in the industry. CEO Masoud “Mike Zarif, PhD., has been in the compressed air industry for more than 40+ years and is widely recognized as a leading innovator in the air & gas treatment industry. Before entering the industry, Zarif earned his master’s degree in engineering and his doctorate in heat and mas transfer, then Taught physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science at the University of Mississippi. He then worked for Boeing and the U.S department of Energy before joining Pioneer Air System, A prominent air & Gas manufacturer in 1989. As Pioneer’s Vice President of R&D and Manufacturing he began innovating new concepts, processes, and patents for the company.
